Dee
Koloski ND, LAc
Dr. Koloski is a 2001 graduate of the
National College of Naturopathic Medicine
(NCNM) in Portland, Oregon. In addition to completing the
typical four-year course of study in the doctoral program, she
completed the certificate in homeopathy, which required 384 additional
class hours and an additional 100 clinical hours under the direct
supervision of homeopathic doctors. She is also a Diplomate of Chinese
Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She completed both the acupuncture and
Chinese herbal medicine board exams.
Dr. Koloski attended Mount Holyoke College as an undergraduate. She
majored in biology and minored in chemistry. While at college, she
played one season of lacrosse.
Her life prior to college revolved entirely around horses. She is a
former 4-H member, graduate A from the United States Pony Club,
competed in upper level 3-day eventing, and trained horses and riders
in a variety of sports. She has a love for teaching and hopes to
eventually return to teaching.
Dr. Koloski is working towards regulation of naturopathic medicine in
the state of Colorado. Currently, she is serving President of the
Colorado
Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She was the co-author
of the 2005 sunrise application requesting regulation of naturopathic
medicine which was submitted to the department of regulatory agencies
in Colorado, and continues to dedicate a great deal of time towards
legislative activity.
Kathryn
Plummer ND
Dr. Plummer is a 2002 graduate of the
National College of Naturopathic Medicine
(NCNM) in Portland, Oregon. Her specific area of focus within
the four-year doctoral program was western botanical medicine. She
completed approximately 100 additional hours of elective courses in
botanical medicine and attended herbal conferences throughout her stay
at NCNM. In addition, she completed extensive elective courses in
homeopathy and bodywork. Outside of academic study, she participated as
assistant editor to the school's visual art and literary magazine.
Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Plummer had two thriving massage
therapy practices in Denver and Lakewood, Colorado. She was trained at
the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado, which provided a 1-year
course of study requiring 1000 hours of training leading to her
certification. She was awarded an honors letter for extra study and
excellence in practice. She has been trained in several massage therapy
techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, neuromuscular,
and remedial massage.
Dr. Plummer attended Colorado College as an undergraduate. She majored
in biology and was a competitive swimmer throughout her college career.
Dr. Plummer is past board memberof the Downtown Loveland Association
and former co-chair of its design and management committee. Dr. Plummer
has a passion for the environment and is an avid organic vegetable,
flower and herb gardener.
