Sage Holistic Health Tip of the Month

Grilled Zucchini

  • 2-4 zucchini or summer squash
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Cayenne powder or rosemary

Slice vegetables on a diagonal, 1/4-1/2 inch thick.  Place slices in a bowl.  Add oil and salt to coat, and mix well.

Using tongs, place slices on a medium-hot grill.  Flip slices when you see the grill marks.  Do not over-char!

Arrange slices on a platter.  Sprinkle with a dash of cayenne or rosemary and serve hot.

Teaching

Part of the education of a burgeoning naturopathic doctor is to shadow other doctors in the clinical field.  This opportunity not only provides clinical experience, but also a glimpse into the administrative concepts of running a practice.

Both Dr. Koloski and Dr. Plummer are off-site clinical educators providing these preceptorships for fourth-year students.

Kimberly Caravone precepted with us in the summer of 2009, and now practices in Arizona.

Drs. Mary and Steve Rondeau are now practicing in Ft. Collins.
